Bowling 2011-2112

With the bowling season well underway, teams are getting anxious and ready for regional action that will take place on Thursday, February 16th at 1:00 pm.  Before that happens, they will have two more chances to improve their play.  January 31, they will compete against St. Albert of Council Bluffs in Council Bluffs and then on February 14, they will compete again the same team at home. This will be senior night for six of your young student / athletes.

All teams have done very well and it seems every day they continue to show improvement and also have fun doing it.  Everyone wants to compete well but it’s not always in us.  With bowling, there are times you feel good and have a good swing the entire day and others where it just feels uncomfortable and we tend to struggle. . . . read more

Seth Esaias Sets the Record Straight

Seth has joined a truly elite club as a four-time H-10 conference champ, he is just the 16th wrestler to accomplish this feat since the tournaments start in 1971. He adds Red Oak to an exclusive list of five teams that have had a wrestler accomplish this feat. More impressive is Esaias began at the 160 pound weight class, a weight class traditionally ruled by upper-classmen. Seth is currently 42-0 on the season bringing his career record to 165-15, 111 of those wins coming by pin including all three matches at this years Hawkeye Ten Conference tournament.
