Snow Make Up Days

The Red Oak Community School District appreciates the great amount of patience shown by students, parents, and staff during this tough Southwest Iowa winter. Days missed this year include December 8, 9, 10 along with January 7 and 8. Before the winter is over, additional cancellations could occur. All missed days will be made-up at the end of the school year in Red Oak. Currently the last day of school is now set for Tuesday, June 1.

If a two-hour delay of school would fall on a scheduled Early Dismissal Day for professional development, the schedule would change and students and staff would remain for the normal end of day. The cancellation of an early dismissal day will only occur if school is in a two hour delayed start. Announcements for delayed starts or total school day cancellation can always be heard first on local radio station KCSI 95.3 FM / KOAK 1080 AM. Thank you for your patience!
