Red Oak Schools Schedule Make-Up Days
All schools will be in session on Monday, February 16, 2015. This will be the first make up day due to the loss of school time for all schools on January 7 – declared closed due to dangerous cold. Depending on the remaining days of winter – assuming no other days are missed between today and Thursday, April 2 - a make-up day will be conducted for Red Oak Middle School and High School on Monday, April 6. Again, assuming no other days are missed, Inman Primary School and Washington Intermediate would not be in school on Monday, April 6. Realizing the winter season and its length cannot be predicted, additional make-up time may be needed. Please watch this website for future announcements.
District administrators are still monitoring the effects of the “attendance hours” method of school attendance in this school year. Additional make-up time due to the Red Oak Middle School water event last Labor Day weekend and due to the lost school days at Red Oak High for the state volleyball championships could be announced in the weeks ahead. All will be kept informed as the district moves through this winter season.
