Vocal Music Solo/Ensemble District Music Contest Results
The Red Oak High School Vocal Music Department had an extremely successful day at our Solo/Ensemble District Music Contests held at Red Oak High School on Saturday, April 11.
Red Oak had 41 students from the vocal music department involved in 23 entries. A great representation of Red Oak High School and its outstanding students. The students had worked hard on their music and brought a professional and mature approach to their performances which were rated and scored by adjudicators appointed by the Iowa High School Music Association.
Overall the Red Oak High School Vocal Music Department received 17- I Superior Ratings, 5 II- Excellent Ratings, and 1 III- Good Rating.

-Women’s Triple Trio R- Cassie Vrabel, Bree Berkey, Hannah Shalters, Madison Gilbert, Makayla Meyers, Megan Sands, Lauren Gilbert, Belle Perkins, and Brenna Craig

It was a wonderful day. The students not only performed at the contests but they helped host, set up, tear down, and run the contest. They represented Red Oak High School in a classy and outstanding fashion.
