Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Southwest Iowa Bandmasters Association held its annual District Middle School Honor Band Auditions on Saturday, October 27th at Clarinda Middle School. Over 500 students auditioned for selection to the 7th and 8th Grade Honor Bands. The Honor Bands will be rehearsing and performing at Atlantic High School on Friday, November 9th. Conductors for the 2018 SWIBA Middle School Honor Bands are Courtney Ridge, from Clarinda High School, for the 7th Grade band, and Bobbi Garringer, from West Des Moines, for the 8th Grade band. Tickets for the concert are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
