Homecoming 2016

The week of September 19th, 2016 commences this year’s homecoming! The theme this year is “Rounding up the Mustangs,” with the homecoming game being on Friday, September 23rd at 7:00PM against Shenandoah High School. The events of the week for Red Oak School District are as follows:

Monday, September 19th: Dress-Monday Night Football

4:00PM Middle School Volleyball vs. Glenwood at Glenwood High School Auxiliary Gym

4:30PM 9th Grade Volleyball Tournament at Harlan High School

5:00PM JV Volleyball Tournament at Treynor High School

6:00PM JV Football Game vs. Clarinda at Red Oak

Tuesday, September 20th: Dress-Blast From the  Past

PICTURE DAY at Red Oak Middle School and High School

4:00PM Middle School and High School Cross Country Meet in Creston at SWCC

Wednesday, September 20th:  Dress-Twins Day

2 Hour Early Dismissal

Thursday, September 21stDress-Rootin Tootin Thursday

4:00PM 7th Grade Middle School Football vs. Clarinda at Red Oak

5:30PM 8th Grade Middle School Football vs. Clarinda at Red Oak

5:30PM Football Alumni Event at the Elks Lodge in Red Oak

Friday, September 23rd:  Dress-Tiger Pride

2 Hour Early Dismissal

2:00PM Homecoming Parade**

4:00PM Coronation at Red Oak High School

7:00PM Homecoming Football Game vs. Shenandoah at Russ Benda Football Field

Saturday, September 24th:

8:30AM 9th Grade and JV Volleyball tournament at Creston High School

9:30AM Middle School and High School Cross Country Meet at Harlan Golf and Country Club

8:00PM Red Oak High School Homecoming Dance


**Businesses that are interested in participating in the 2016 Homecoming Parade, please contact the Red Oak High School Office at 623-6610 to be placed in the parade. The parade will begin at 2:00 on Friday, September 23rd, with line-up starting at 1:30 at the Gold Fair Building.  Within 3-4 days prior to the parade, each business will receive an exact spot in the parade from the student council.  Be sure to leave contact information with the high school office. Please contact the high school to receive a placement in the parade. Don’t forget to cheer on and support your tigers at the football game!
