Welcome to Inman Primary School! I am Mrs. Sterbick and I love teaching 2nd grade! I grew up on a farm in Central Iowa around Altoona and attended Southeast Polk High School. I attended college at Des Moines Area Community College, The University of South Dakota, and Upper Iowa University’s West Des Moines Campus. I always wanted to teach, so I went back to school in 2002 and I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Upper Iowa University in K-6 Elementary Education and K-8 Reading Endorsement in 2005. I began my elementary teaching career in Red Oak in 2006. I am married to Coach and Lewis Central teacher, Larry Sterbick, and we have 7 children, and 6 grandchildren. We love living out on the prairie north of Red Oak. Each Inman student holds so much potential for learning and growing. “In every child is planted the seed of a great future.” |
