Even Gracie enjoys a good book! Parents! Want some hints to help your student succeed?
Second Quarter Goal: all of my students have the goal of improving their grades from 1st quarter. If their second quarter grade is above their 1st quarter grade, they get a prize for each subject it went up. A and B students just have to maintain their grades, although, B's and lower A's can be brought up. If everyone in the class improves in at least 2 subjects, then we will have a celebration...the students are thinking maybe a roller skating party....(which will have to be okayed with Mrs Sims of course) Links to Other Pages: Kidblog-student log in Kidblog is a website where your child can write in a fun and cool way, through a blog! Now we have not used this yet in the classroom, but I am hoping to have things up and running for second quarter! Kidblog- parent viewing The parent viewing site is where you (the parent) can see what your student has been up to on kidblog. All postings are checked by me before going out for others to view. This helps to eliminate any information that may not be appropriate or necessary for the public to see.
We will be starting a project next week that will take about 5 weeks to do. Please allow your child to use kidblog at home for this project.
The schedule will differ on days we get out early or start late.
