Major Changes to School Registration
Change is here...there will not be a school registration day in Red Oak this year. Red Oak Community Schools registration will be completed online. This means that parents will be able to complete the registration and pay fees from home as long as they have an Infinite Campus Portal account. If a parent does not currently have a portal account or has forgotten the password, he or she will need to contact the school to get the account set up. Parents of students who are new to the district will be able to register online in the Red Oak Middle School Office. Those parents who need assistance or don't have access to a computer will be able to complete the registration online at Red Oak Middle School as well. The registration will open July 16, 2018 and will be open through the start of school. The Middle School Office will be open between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition to online registration, there are changes to the online payments as well. PaySchools is being replaced by Vanco. The new system will allow all transactions to be made directly in the Infinite Campus Portal. Users will need to set up the online payments on the Infinite Campus Portal. Once set up, users will be able to pay registration fees, make food service deposits, purchase activity passes, and pay fines.
High school students taking SWCC college courses, have been sent orientation information to their mailing address and school email. If you did not receive this communication but planned to take college courses this fall semester, please reach out to Rachel Ramaeker, SWCC secondary programs, 641-782-1307 or ramaeker@swcciowa.edu. While the registration deadline has passed for fall semester, SWCC will review your contact and registration information and determine your orientation needs.

- Gathering the following information ahead of time will be helpful when completing the online registration:
- Household information – address and phone numbers
- Parent information – work and cell phone numbers, email addresses
- Student information – demographic and health/medication information/immunization records
- Birth Certificate (s) – If new to the district, a copy of a child's birth certificate needs to be on file.
- Emergency Contacts – names and phone numbers
- Vehicle Information – If student will be driving to school, you will need to provide the make, model, year, color, and license plate number.
