Homecoming 2014

Red Oak Community Schools will celebrate Homecoming 2014 during the week of September 29 through October 4.  This year's theme is "Feelin' Groovy."

Tiger Pride items may be purchased at each school office beginning Tuesday, September 30. Items will be priced from 25 cents to $5.  Each day will have a dress code: Matching Monday; Hero Tuesday; Wacky Wednesday; Decade Thursday (Seniors-80s/Juniors-70s/Sophomores-90s/Freshmen-60s/Staff-50s); Orange/Black Tiger Gear Friday.

There will be a 2 hour early release on Friday, October 3, for the parade.  Line up for the parade will be in the parking lot in front of the Gold Fair Building.  The route will travel down 4th Street, right on Linden Street, left on 3rd Street, and continue down 3rd Street to Fountain Square Park where it will make its way around the park and conclude on the 4th Street side of the Middle School.  The Grand Marshal for the parade is Bill Drey.

Coronation will take place at the High School at 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 3.  Members of the court are:  Tatum Allensworth, Grace Blomstedt, Madison Gilbert, Nikki Graber, Shelbie Perez, Kate Walker, Brandon Birt, Gil Cooper, Cade Johnson, Gabe Nelson, and Eric Ramos.  The evening will conclude with a football game against Treynor beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Hall of Fame Induction placque will be presented to Denny Bloom and Bill Bancroft at halftime along with Middle School Band and High School Band performances.

The High School Homecoming Dance will conclude the week on Saturday, October 4th, from 8:00-11:00 p.m.
