OPUS Honor Choir Festival
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn November 15th, Jonah Wemhoff and Lena Torbett were selected to attend the OPUS Honor Choir Festival, a yearly event hosted by the Iowa Choral Directors Association. In order to be eligible, both students had to send in a pre-recorded audition that was sent to choral directors in the state of Iowa. These two outstanding vocalists were selected to attend the OPUS Honor Choir from a pool of over 3000 auditioning students across the state. Once they were selected, they prepared 5 challenging choral pieces and spent the day rehearsing with a guest conductor. Jonah was selected for the 7th-8th Grade Bass Clef Choir, and Lena was selected for the 6th Grade Treble Choir. Congratulations to both of them for this amazing achievement!
